Sealing is the difference between concrete that looks tired in five years and concrete that still looks new in fifteen.
What sealing actually does for your concrete
Bare concrete is porous. Every winter it soaks up melt water, that water freezes, and the expansion pushes the surface apart from the inside. Add road salt from the plow and you get pitting, spalling and flaking — the rough, crumbling surface you see on driveways that were never sealed.
A sealer closes those pores. Water beads and runs off instead of soaking in, salt sits on top instead of eating in, and UV light stops bleaching the color out of decorative concrete. It also makes the surface far easier to clean, because oil, leaf stain and tire marks never get a chance to soak down.

Our Process
How we seal a driveway or patio
Sealer applied over a dirty or damp surface will cloud, peel and trap the dirt underneath. Most of our work happens before the sealer comes out.
1. Deep clean
Commercial surface cleaner plus the right detergent for whatever is on the concrete — algae, oil, rust or old failing sealer.
2. Dry and prep
The slab has to be fully dry before anything goes down. We check the weather window and we don't rush this step.
3. Seal in two coats
Two thin coats bond and wear better than one heavy one. We match the finish — matte, satin or wet look — to what you want.
